Web pages are defined as the solitary page or single document of a website. All web pages are attached to the unique URL address that is used to access or render that specific page. These web pages and URLs can either be public or private that depends on how these were configured by their developers.
All web browsers can actually be used for navigating URLs that the users can copy and share. Viewing websites doesn’t often require any navigation if you have its URL address. But, many URLs are actually connected to the site that helps developers come up with the right structured user interface and sitemap. It helps with SEO or search engine optimization as well.

A website is typically divided into two primary categories namely interactive and static. Static sites are meant to share resources and information without the interaction and involvement with visitors. An interactive website allows visitor to engage in an interaction with the rest of the members while the author uses the chatbox, comment box, article posting, and others. Among the most popular and common categories include ecommerce websites, social networking websites, dating websites, affiliate websites, and others.
Take note that websites typically include several web pages aside from the homepage, blog, support, contact, about, downloads, products, forum, and others. However, there are times when websites could be developed with one entity content with no hyperlinks. This kind of websites is called single-page website.
